REUL (Revocation and Reform) Act 2023 statutory instruments

On this page you will find the complete list of statutory instruments (SIs) which will be laid under the REUL (Revocation and Reform) Act 2023.

The Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Act will end the special status of retained EU law in the UK statute book and will enable retained EU law to be more easily amended, revoked and replaced, via legislation such as these statutory instruments.

This list has been organised by the type of SI being laid.

Draft affirmative SIs

In this section, find draft affirmative statutory instruments (SIs) (which are subject to debates in both Houses) under the Retained EU Law Act 2023.

Negative to sift SIs

Before some Retained EU Law Act SIs are formally ‘laid’ in Parliament, they have to go through a sifting process. A scrutiny committee in the House of Commons and the House of Lords will consider the suitability of the ‘negative procedure’ for these SIs.

You can find details of those SIs, including the outcome of sifts, in this section.
