Consolidated code of practice: enforcement weighing of vehicles

Details

This non-statutory code of practice provides best practice guidance for DVSA examiners conducting vehicle weight checks using:

single and multi-plate weighbridges
other non-dynamic weighing equipment
dynamic axle weighers (including in static mode)
portable weighpads

It’s been published so that DVSA is transparent about how these checks take place.
