Details
These policy frameworks set out the mandatory requirements and guidance to manage the risk of conveyance. This also includes information on illicit and unauthorised items, and how to gain authorisation in certain circumstances. There are specific policy frameworks for closed and open Prisons to meet the needs of the different types of prison.
They apply to all public sector prisons, contracted prisons and young offender institutions.
