The Help to Build: Equity Loan scheme will close to all new applications on 31 March 2025.   

All fully completed applications received on or before by 31 March 2025, will be able to proceed if both of the following apply: 

  • a formal Mortgage Offer has been issued by Homes England by 30 April 2025

  • the formal Mortgage Offer is accepted no later than 31 May 2025.

Homes England uses this calculator to work out if applicants for a Help to Build: Equity Loan pass a sustainability assessment.
