Details
On 12 May 2021, Natural England submitted a collection of reports to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs setting out the proposals for improved access to the coast between the Humber Bridge and Easington (HBE).
The opportunity to comment closed at midnight, Wednesday 7 July 2021. You can no longer make a representation or objection on proposals.
All representations and objections were considered before the Secretary of State made a final decision about the reports.

Outcome
On 2 March 2022, the Secretary of State approved the proposals for improved access to the coast between the Humber Bridge and Easington.
On 26 March 2025 the Humber Bridge to Easington stretch opened to the public.
The route is available to view on the National Trails website
