This code provides guidance on the procedures that must be followed before third party bulk personal datasets can be accessed and examined by:

  • the Security Service
  • the Secret Intelligence Service
  • the Government Communications Headquarters

It should be read alongside part 7B of the Investigatory Powers Act and the explanatory notes.
