This guidance sets out the operational processes for dealing with EU, European Economic Area (EEA) and Swiss passengers and their family members who arrive at the UK border after the end of the grace period, which ended at midnight on 30 June 2021. The guidance therefore came into effect at 00:01 on 1 July 2021.
