This document explains how the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) manages the release of Work and Health Programme statistics.

This release strategy was updated in July 2020 and acts as the formal response to the Work and Health Programme official statistics consultation.

  1. Added Stat-Xplore to the list of publication formats. The latest Work and Health Programme statistics have been published today, 25 August 2022.

  2. Updated the information about the 5 main measures in the Work and Health Programme (WHP) statistics. The next release of WHP statistics will be published on 25 February 2020.

  3. Revised release strategy - updated the information about what is currently included in the official statistics, and what is planned to be included from August 2020.

  4. Revised to support the latest release of Work and Health Programme statistics (data to November 2019), also published today 27 February 2020.

  5. Updated as a result of the consultation on the release of Work and Health Programme statistics.

  6. Amended release strategy to clarify that we aim to publish Work and Health Programme statistics on the same day as the wider Labour Market Statistics, dependent on data source availability.
