ThisThese open general export licencelicences (OGEL) allowsallow the export of a range of dual-use (has a civilian and military application) goods, software and technology for tasks or hydrographic surveys in support of contracts within the oil and gas industry. This extends to a wide range of destinations, but is subject to certain conditions and restrictions.

This version of the licence is available for registration.

This version of the licence will be revoked on 30 December 2022. Exporters should register for the version of the licence above.

  1. The open general export licence oil and gas exploration: dual-use items - from December 2019 has been revoked as it is no longer required.
