Update 28 June 2023: IHA Stream 2A feasibility study reports

We have published the feasibility study report for each of the 9 Stream 2A projects.

The Industrial Hydrogen Accelerator (IHA) competition supports projects generating evidence on end-to-end industrial fuel switching to hydrogen. It willcovers cover the full technology chain, from hydrogen generation and delivery infrastructure through to industrial end-use, including the integration of the components in a single project.

Programme structure

Stream 1: Demonstration projects - grant (up to £10 million in grant funding per project). Competition is now closed.

Stream 2A: Feasibility studies - Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) (up to £400,000 in SBRI funding per project). Competition is now closed.

Stream 2B: Demonstration / FEED projects – grant (up to £7 million in grant funding per project) - opening December 2022, this follows on from Stream 2A and iswas open only to projects who have completed feasibility studies in Stream 2A.
