Details

In the first round2 rounds of the UK Seafood Fund: Infrastructure Scheme, £20£56.1 million was awarded to 727 new projects thatto support the long-term sustainability of the fisheries and seafood sector.

These projects will strengthen the seafood supply chain, bring social and economic benefitsbenefits, and reduce the seafood industry’s impact on the environment.

£8.6In round 1 of the infrastructure scheme £16 million was awarded to 36 projects:

  • £11.1 million was awarded to 4 projects in England
  • £4.9 million was awarded to 2 projects in Scotland

In andround £11.12 of the infrastructure scheme £40.1 million was awarded to 421 projects:

  • £15 million was awarded to 8 projects in England.

  • £3.8 million was awarded to 2 projects in Wales
  • £2.6 million was awarded to 1 project in Northern Ireland
