The Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF) 2024 includes 3 grants to help you buy equipment or technology to:
- improve productivity
- manage slurry
- improve animal health and welfare

If you’re eligible, check the item lists to see which items best suit your business.

Read the FETF 2024 terms and conditions.

Submit your application using the Farming Investment Fund service.
If your application is successful, the Rural Payments Agency (RPA) will send you a grant funding agreement (GFA). You’ll need to accept your GFA and claim your FETF 2024 grant payment.
When you can apply
You can apply for FETF 2024 through the Farming Investment Fund service.
You can apply between 6 March and 17 April 2024 for productivity and slurry items. This application window will close at midday on 17 April 2024.

Application window dates for animal health and welfare items have been removed. They will be published shortly.

Dates for the first application window for productivity, slurry and animal health and welfare grants have been added. Links to the Farming Investment Fund service have also been added. FETF412 - Mobile tractor powered livestock total feed ration mixer has been removed from the productivity item list. The section on Changing or withdrawing your application has been changed. You cannot change your application after you've submitted it. If you withdraw your application, you cannot submit another application until a new application window opens.
