Details

If you’re a consignor and you send duty suspended excise goods using the Excise Movement Control System (EMCS), you’ll need to complete and submit a message known as an electronic administrative document (eAD) through EMCS before the movement takes place.

If you’re a certified or temporary certified consignor and you send duty paid excise goods from Northern Ireland to the EU using EMCS, you’ll need to complete and submit a message known as an electronic simplified administrative document (eSAD) through EMCS before the movement takes place.

  1. The D — Completion notes relating to Movement Type has been updated to include Export with customs declaration lodged in the United Kingdom.
