This consultation seeks views on the Ministry of Defence’s (“MOD”) proposals regarding its approach to safeguarding the Eskdalemuir Seismological Array (“the Array”) in respect of windfarm development in the Eskdalemuir Consultation Zone.
The MOD is carefully considering the responses received to the consultation in tandem with completing its audit of the baseline cumulative seismic noise total.
It is anticipated that this work will be completed to enable the MOD to publish its new approach to the safeguarding of the Array in the summer in tandem with publication of the audited baseline.
