Details

This guidance is for further education providers that participate in the teachers’ pension scheme. Please check the eligibility section for more information.  

This includes some: 

  • general further education colleges 
  • sixth-form colleges 
  • designated institutions (including the new designated institutions that form part of higher education provider group structures) 
  • special post-16 institutions 
  • adult and community learning providers that are part of a local authority

  1. We’ve updated the page with the new grant methodology for academic year 2025 to 2026. We’ve removed the guidance for 2023 to 2024 as this is no longer current.

  2. We have added guidance for the 2024 to 2025 academic year, and updated the 2023 to 2024 guidance to include the SCAPE rate rise from April 2024.
