Details
Heat networks are critical technologies for decarbonising heat and enabling the UK to meet its legally-bindinglegally binding climate targets. The number of networks in England is steadily growing and we expect the rate of growth to increase,increase. soAs a result, thousands more heat network professionals will be needed to learn to install and maintain these technologies.
About the Heat Training Grant
The Heat Training Grant supports trainees in England taking courses relevant to heat networks. TrainingThis providersgrant mustwill beprovide basedtrainees inwith Englanda discount or rebate of up to offer£500 theon grant,selected whichtraining willcovering providethe traineeslife withcycle of a discountheat network.
We are looking for training providers interested in offering the grant to trainees. This would give providers the opportunity to offer discounts or rebaterebates of up to £500.£500 towards their eligible courses.
The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero willZero will work with the Midlands Net Zero Hub (our administrators for this programme) to run athe bidding process to select training providersproviders. for Year 2 of training delivery.
Contracts for Yearthis 2year will run up to March 2025.2026.
