What the fund will achieve
The primary objective of the intervention is to protect civilians and non-combatants, particularly those who may face barriers to accessing services. This should reduce their exposure to risks, alleviate the effects of violence and other forms of harm, and promote awareness and respect for International Humanitarian Law.
Requirements for organisations wishing to apply
Applicants will need to demonstrate globalstrong experience in specialist protection work in armed conflict and displacement situations, and experience of working safely and effectively with high-risk groups.
In addition, applicants should have previous experience of leading or being a member of an non-governmental organisation (NGO) consortiaconsortium or delivering combined programmes with a value of at least £10£7 million.
Applicants should have an established track record of collaboration with Ukrainian government ministries and should participate in the protection cluster and its areas of responsibility and/or other relevant working groups.
Lead applicants should be Ukrainian not-for-profit organisations, or international organisations with a commitment to promoting and facilitating active participation of local partners.

WhenStage stage1 of the process hasis opened,now applicantsopen. Applicants should submit a concept notenote, using the template below, to SHARP@fcdo.gov.uk.
Questions on the concept note can be submitted to SHARP@fcdo.gov.uk until Thursday 29 May 12:00 (midday) GMT. Responses to all questions will be provided in a Q&A document, which will be published withon thethis statementpage ofby requirements.Wednesday 4 June.
The deadline for submitting concept notes is Tuesday 10 June 23:59 (UK time).
Successful applicants will then be invited byvia email to submit a full proposal. TemplatesInvitations requiredto participate in stage 2 will be sent out before the end of June. Templates for the full applicationproposal will be provided.provided by the FCDO.
