This guidance is to help dangerous goods safety advisers (DGSAs) understand the:
- criteria and exemptions for DGSA employment
- responsibilities of a DGSA
- appointment, training and certification requirements
The Agreement Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road, commonly known as ADR, forms the legislative function.
