This guidance is for local authorities that have been rated by Ofsted as ‘inadequate’inadequate or ‘requiresrequires improvement’.improvement. It will help them find a suitable sector-led improvement partner to support them toin improveimproving their children’s services.
Local authorities rated as ‘good’good can also access support, if there is significant evidence of a decline in performance.
