Temporary fish exports guidance

This guidance is to be used at times when the Fish Exports digital service is offline for a significant amount of time, and a decision has been made to invoke manual arrangements.

Exporting fish to the EU

The digital Fish Exports Service is currently unavailable. To enable trade continuity editable PDF versions of the forms detailed below are available. You can access a blank version the documentation you need by emailing your request to ukfishexports@marinemanagement.org.uk

So that the Marine Management Organisation (MMO) can process your document request in a timely manner, please include the following information in the body of your email:

  • Type of document required (catch certificate, processing statement, non-manipulation document (storage document)
  • Number of documents required
  • State of fish (e.g. fresh, frozen, live)
  • Is it a direct landing?

Please only email if you require a catch certificate, storage document or processing statement within the next 4 hours.

If you require additional support during this time, please contact the Fish Exports Helpline on 0330 159 1989. Agents are available from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).
