The Government Efficiency Framework (GEF) has been updated to provide additional clarification and increase readability. Key changes include: Clarification of definitions (Chapter 2), New sections added on efficiency calculations (4.7), costs of delivering efficiencies (4.8), cross-government joint efficiencies (4.9), long term transformation programmes (4.10), reporting against Spending Review targets (5.3), reporting efficiency savings in Annual Reports and Accounts (5.4) and Updates to benefits realisation, risk and governance (Chapter 6).
