Details

This measure amends HMRC’s existing powers to approve ports and apply approval conditions in secondary legislation. This includes the provision of customs infrastructure. Ports assessed as not having enough space on-site for customs infrastructure will need to provide the same infrastructure at an offsite location, which must be agreed by HMRC.
