Housing guarantee scheme rules: Affordable Homes Guarantee Scheme 2020

This document sets out the scheme rules for the expanded £6 billion Affordable Homes Guarantee Scheme 2020.

The scheme will make loans available to Registered Providers to support the delivery of new-build affordable homes. The expanded scheme also covers retrofit, decency, and building safety upgrades in existing homes. The scheme will provide cost-effective and long-term finance to maximise the number of new affordable homes Registered Providers are able to deliver.
