Details

Edwards’ syndrome is a condition screened for at the 20-week scan as part of the NHS Fetal Anomaly Screening Programme (FASP). This document includes information for parents about:

  • what the condition is
  • follow-up tests and appointments
  • what the outlook for the baby is
  • what happens next
  • how likely it is to happen in future pregnancies
  • where more support and information is available

The information is available in 10 other languages: Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, Gujarati, Polish, Portuguese, Punjabi, Romanian, Spanish, and Urdu.

Refer to how to print digital leaflets if you need to provide a copy of this guidance to people who cannot access the internet.
