The Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) closed on 31 March 2025. All activity has moved to the Department for Education (DfE). You should continue to follow this guidance.
You can find your 16 to 19 allocation statement in Document exchange in the ‘Documents received from DfE’DfE’ section. To access Document exchange, log into DfE Sign-inSign-In. If you need access, please contact one of the super-users in your organisation. If you experience any issues accessing DfE Sign-in,Sign-In, please contact the help desk.
We have announced a one-year 5% uplift for T Level funding bands for academic year 2025 to 2026. We have also updated the rates in our 16 to 19 funding rates and formula and T Level funding guidance for academic year 2025 to 2026. We aim to revise 16 to 19 funding allocation statements in June 2025 to incorporate the 5% T Level uplift. The rates in your current 16 to 19 funding allocation statements do not contain the uplift.

We’ve published our allocation statement guides today to support you with understanding your 16 to 19 allocation statements as we start to upload them to Document exchange. There are 2 guides this academic year. The 16 to 19 revenue funding allocation guide covers further education colleges, school and academy sixth forms (including special academies and special free schools) and special post-16 institutions (SPIs). There is a separate guide for non-maintained special schools.
