Details

The Structures Fund provides grant funding to support the capital costs of repairing or replacing local highway structures.

It is open to applications from local highway authorities in England and from Transport for London.

This guidance explains the process along with information on eligibility and support for applicants. It will be updated if there is a need for additional guidance or clarification.

Applicants should read the guidance, then download and complete:

  • the pre-submission response form to tell the Department for Transport about the scheme(s) they expect to put forwards, and the support required from the technical advisory body

  • the submission template and economic toolkit to put forward a structure for investment

  • the supplementary schemes form to tell the department about future highway structure schemes that are likely to be unaffordable for your authority
