The German-UK school trip travel arrangement has not yet come into force.
As part of the UK-Germany Friendship and Bilateral Cooperation Treaty (‘the Kensington Treaty’), the UK and Germany agreed to make travel requirements for school groups easier. This arrangement is not currently in place and cannot be used yet.
This arrangement will come into force once Germany completes its legislative process.
