The Chair of the Animals in Science Committee (ASC), Dr Sally Robinson, wrote to Lord Hanson on 1 July 2026 regarding the deadline for the Alternative Methods Expert Committee commission, formally requesting a deadline extension to July 24 2026. Lord Hanson has agreed this change to the commission deadline.
