In total, the government received 74 responses to the online form (excluding blank submissions) and 21 email responses. During the consultation period, we also held meetings and roundtables with keysome important stakeholders, including business representatives, trade union representatives and tronc operators.

They were used to discuss views on the topics and themes raised in the consultation, with attendees also reminded that more specific answers to the consultation should be provided via the consultation itself, either via email or the online form.

The government is very grateful to all respondents to the consultation for their considered and helpful responses.
