Appointment of Interim Chair for Gov Facility Services Limited

Maura Sullivan has been appointed as Interim Chair of Gov Facility Services Limited (GFSL) for a period of up to 6 months from 1 August 2026, ending no later than 31 January 2027.

GFSL is a non-statutory, not-for-profit, limited company. Its role is to provide facilities management services to prisons in the south of England.

The appointment of GFSL directors, including the Chair, is governed by the GFSL Articles of Association and the MOJ/GFSL Framework Document. GFSL appointments are not regulated by the Commissioner for Public Appointments.

Biography

Maura Sullivan was appointed as Non-Executive Director of GFSL in April 2019. She has over 30 years’ executive experience in financial services, and her non executive portfolio includes roles in that sector as well as other public appointments including Chair of Audit & Risk and Board Member of Cabinet Office.
