Provisional decision: strategic review of CMA markets remedies

In January 2026, the CMA launched a strategic review of its markets remedies. We consulted on whether 33 markets remedies remain appropriate, and if not, if they should be amended or removed.

We now invite views on our provisional decision to amend, remove or retain the remedies as follows:
