This regulatory position statement (RPS) does not change your legal requirement to:
Reportto2024collectnationandofreportsalenationanddata, self-managed organisational wastedata,and plastic and paper bags data in line with the Producer Responsibility Obligations (Packaging and Packaging Waste) Regulations 2024 (the Packagingregulations).Regulations).Collectandreport2025nationofsale,self-managedorganisationalwasteandplasticandpaperbagsdatainlinewiththePackagingRegulations.
However, the Environment Agency will not normally take enforcement action if you do not comply with these legal requirements if you meet the requirements in this this RPS.
This regulatory position does not apply to any other legal requirements.
