Use this document to confirm whether your business activities and products fall within scope of the British Industrial Competitiveness Scheme (BICS).
This is the final list of eligible activities which will be reflected in the implementing legislation. The government does not intend to make any further changes to the code lists for 2027.

The Excel Spreadsheet 'Eligibility for the British Industrial Competitiveness Scheme (BICS), version 3, dated 25 August 2026' was replaced with an updated version to reflect that the description of HS code 871639 has changed from 'Trailers and semi-trailers, not designed for running on rails, for the transport of highly radioactive materials [Euratom]' to 'Trailers and semi-trailers for the transport of goods, not designed for running on rails (excl. self-loading or self-unloading trailers and semi-trailers for agricultural purposes and tanker trailers and tanker semi-trailers)'.
