Land use statistics in England: methodology changes

This consultation seeks views on a new methodology for the 3 sets of statistics about land use in England.

These statistics are:

• Land use in England
• Land use change: new residential addresses
• Land use change: hectarage

We are considering how best to rebuild the land use statistics on Ordnance Survey’s National Geographic Database in a way that meets user needs.

The consultation presents our proposed approach and seeks views on its key features and implications.
