This guidance has been updated in the section British nationality certificate is not showing on Atlas to tell examiners to contact QuESt (Quality and Examination Support team) when a certificate issued after 30 September 1986 is not on Atlas and with a new section that tells HM Passport Office staff how to check a British nationality certificate with the Channel Islands and Isle of Man and in the section When the Citizenship team change a British nationality certificate, to give examples of when the Citizenship team will amend a British nationality certificate.
