V149 has rates for:

  • cars
  • motorcycles
  • light goods vehicles

V149/1 has rates for:

  • all other types of goods vehicles
  • buses
  • recovery vehicles

The rates are for vehicles that have been registered. You can check tax rates for new unregistered cars online.
