Nova Scotia floods
A provincewide state of emergency has been declared in Nova Scotia, in response to severe flooding across the province. The following areas are currently the most affected:
- Halifax Regional Municipality
- East and West Hants
- Lunenburg and Queens counties
If you are in Nova Scotia, particularly near Halifax, you should:
- check the Government of Nova Scotia’s storm emergency updates (also available on Twitter or Facebook)
- sign up to Halifax’s emergency alert service
Wildfires in British Colombia
Wildfires are affecting many parts of Canada. You should follow the advice of the local authorities.
