Details

You must register all boats kept, used or let for hire on Environment Agency waterways.

The ‘charging schemes from 2022’2025’ document gives the boat registration charges that apply after:

  • 1 January 20222025 for Thames
  • 1 April 20222025 for Anglian and Medway

Alternatively,The you‘charging schemes from 2022’ document gives the boat registration charges that apply until 31 March 2025 for Anglian waterways and Medway navigation.

  1. Added the 'National navigation boat charging scheme from 2025'. Updated publication details to say when the charging scheme from 2022 will expire.
