This notice explains how data is processed as part of providing GOV.UK Chat.
GOV.UK Chat is an experimental artificial intelligence (AI) feature available to iOS test users of the GOV.UK app.
It is provided by the Government Digital Service (GDS), which is part of the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT).

Updated for GOV.UK Chat’s release in the GOV.UK app. We’ve made some changes to improve readability and provided examples of how we use conversation data to improve and secure GOV.UK Chat. We’ve also clarified that the personal data we collect is a unique identifier code, and clarified the process for having your data deleted.
