Legal Aid Provider Survey 2026

WeThe Legal Aid Agency (LAA) and Ministry of Justice (MoJ) will launch a survey for all providers who currently hold a live legal aid contract. The survey will open on 27 Aprilon 2026 and27 April 2026 and close on 1 June 2026. on 1 June 2026. This short survey will take about ten minutes to complete, though you may want to take longer to reflect on the questions.

This survey will help ourselves and the MinistryLAA ofand JusticeMoJ develop a more detailed understanding of market capacity and demand for legal aid services. InsightsIt gainedwill from the survey will also highlight the current challenges in how we work with our providers.

How will the survey work?

Providers with a live legal aid contract will receive ana email andunique survey link for eachby email for each of their offices on 27 Apriloffices 2026.

The IfLAA will be running a series of video call drop-in sessions whilst the linksurvey is notopen there,to pleasegive contactproviders the LAAopportunity Insights Team onto ask any questions about the emailsurvey.
