G7 Summit
The G7 Summit will take place in Evian between 15-17 June 2026.
Access around the area
From midnight on Thursday 11 June to 8pm on Wednesday 17 June, movement around some areas of Evian will be restricted. You will need a digital pass to enter certain areas of the town. This includes travel by foot, car, and public transport. You can register for a pass on the G7 Pass website (in French).
Check the regional government website (in French) for up-to-date information about these restrictions.
Border crossings
French and Swiss authorities are also planning to close several border crossings in the area between 12-18 June. Some crossings will remain open but severe delays are likely. Plan your journey carefully and consider avoiding travel between France and Switzerland on these dates. Check the Republic and Canton of Geneva website (in French) for the latest information.
